This article provides instructions for installing the Flip LTI in Canvas.

Follow the steps outlined in Flip’s setup the Canvas integration help article. The steps are detailed. Take a breath and follow them carefully to ensure the best outcomes.

SpeedGrader should bring in a student’s initial response to a Flip topic. Encouraging students to submit initial responses through Canvas only is an extra measure to ensure you can see these videos in SpeedGrader.

SpeedGrader does not currently support student text or video comments or replies. You can access comments or replies to initial response videos by logging into Flip directly within response videos.

You must set up the Flip LTI with each new course. When a course using the LTI is copied from term to term, ensure success by following these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps tab > View App Configurations.

  2. If Flip appears in the list, uninstall Flip.

  3. Reinstall Flip.
