This article guides you through recording a post or response in a Flip topic.

Instructions

Join your Flip group or topic. You can record posts from within your group or from within a topic.
1. Once in a group, locate the topic then select the camera icon to launch the Flip recorder.
2. From within a topic, select the record button.
Allow Flip to use your camera and microphone if prompted.
1. Once in Flip’s video window, the options available to you are dependent on how your instructor set up the topic and the device you are on. Go to Flip’s camera and video effects for details.
Click the round record button at the bottom of the window to start your recording. Keep an eye on the timer as you go!
1. Video mode is default selected making recording video easy for you. Depending on your assignment requirements, you may also create audio-only clips or use Flip’s create mode during recording.
2. The timer at the top shows how much time you still have available to record.
Retake your video if you need to.
Click Next if you are finished.
Preview your video clip(s).
1. Edit or delete your video as needed.
Click Confirm once you are done.
Optionally, edit your cover photo and include a caption.
Click Post to topic to upload your video.
Select Go to topic to view or edit your video and more.
