Best Practices with Blackboard and Videos

We discourage uploading video files (e.g., MP4) directly to Blackboard. The learning management system is not optimized for video storage and playback. For this reason, we have invested in Panopto which is a video platform available to all Boise State faculty, staff, and students. Panopto also integrates with Blackboard for your convenience. Lastly, because large files can negatively impact both system performance and our storage allotment, we have limits to Bb course sizes.
