Find Your Blackboard Course Site ID

Summary

This article demonstrates where to locate a Blackboard Course Site ID in a course site. Course Site IDs are unique to each Blackboard Course Site and very useful when reporting issues and asking questions about a particular Blackboard Course.  Always be sure to include a Blackboard Course Site ID in all communications to the Help Desk and Learning Technology Solutions.

Instructions

  • Open up your Blackboard Course Site and locate the "Course Management" menu
  • Select "Content Collection"
  • Locate Course Site ID:

  • If the Course Site ID is too large to view completely from the Course Management Menu, click on the Course Site ID and copy it from the top of the next screen:
