Disable Canvas Notifications for Specific Canvas Course

Summary

Students are able to control notification settings on a course by course basis. For example, students can disable reminder notifications from self-paced courses after they’ve completed the work.

Instructions

  1. In Canvas, click the Account button on the left-hand account menu, then click Notifications.

  2. From the Settings for dropdown menu, select the course for which you would like to edit notification settings.

  3. Toggle off notifications for that course.
