Changing Availability Dates For Specific Students in Classic and New Quizzes

Summary

This article outlines how to extend quiz availability for specific students in Canvas. These steps apply to both Classic and New Quizzes.

Instructions

  1. In Canvas, click the Quizzes link in your Course Navigation Menu.

  2. Next to the desired quiz, click the More Options button ( ), then click Edit.

  3. On the quiz Details tab, under the Assign settings area, click the + Add button under the availability dates to set an additional availability rule.

  4. Enter the name of the student(s) for whom you would like to set different availability rules and specify the dates in the date fields.

  5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 to add additional rules if needed.

  6. Click the Save button in the bottom right corner of the page.
