The Described and Captured Media Program provides a full set of guidelines for educational closed captioning on their website that are compliant with mandates from the Department of Education. It comes in the format of an ebook. Before you begin captioning your media, it is strongly recommended that you read these guidelines in order to provide quality captions for your students.
